Int. Traveler Part II

Today, my wonderful, wonderful sister-in-law, Kellie, drove me to the Health Department downtown. She dropped me off at the door and circled around until I was done. I got my new birth certificate within minutes AND it is already in the mail!

If you've never been, the Health Department is a scary place, with scary people. I think I thanked Kellie 200 times for going with me. I was so grateful that I didn't have to park and walk around down there by myself. The inside office wasn't much better. Those people obviously weren't there to get a birth certificate for a passport application.

I am counting my blessings today.
